She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Emerson and Viola Emerson (Ludka); her daughter Carol; her brother Jack Emerson; and her siblings-in-law, Dale Gary, Betty Emerson and Arlene Emerson.
She is survived by: her husband Jack; her children, Greg Horn (Mary), Amy Simon (Phil) and Nancy Thompson (Bill); her grandchildren, Abby Simon (Russell Abbott), Gracie Simon, Cole Simon, Connor Thompson and Sophia Thompson; her great grandchildren, Axton and Arrow Abbot; and her siblings, Richard "Dick" Emerson and Joan Gary. She is also survived by family friends.
