James Rickard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2024, at the age of 92, James Rickard of Traverse City, Michigan, born in Iowa City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Victor and Claire Rickard (Beebe); and his siblings, Thomas, Daniel and Mary Alice.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Daniel Rickard (Jessica), Susan Carpenter (Jerry) and David Rickard (Barbara); his grandchildren, Carrie Carpenter, Kevin Carpenter (Clare), Dylan, Hannah Rickard, Kalie Cook (Nate), Cameron and Keaghan Rickard; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Madison, Tomas, Henry, Oakley and Charley.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Episcopal Church (341 Washington St, Traverse City, MI 49684). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed to AA or to The Watershed Center Grand Traverse Bay.
