He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sommerman and Lauretta Sommerman (McKenney); and his son Eric Sommerman. He is survived by: his wife Frances Pearl Wood; his son Mark Sommerman (Marta) of Traverse City; his grandchildren, James (Jenny), Katie and Michael; his great grandchildren, Mason and Mila; and his daughter-in-law Shelly Sommerman.
