It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Edward Lautenschlager of Traverse City, Michigan, born in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lautenschlager and Olga Lautenschlager (Gretzinger); and his brother Charles. He is survived by: his wife Marge; his children, Jim Lautenschlager, Paul Lautenschlager and Elaine Monahan (Jeff); and his sister Nancy Haushater (William). He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cherryland Humane Society or Hospice of Michigan.
