He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his daughter Kimberly Miner II (Jack) of Traverse City; his grandchildren, Jack Miner III (Kendall) of Denver and Alison Miner of Chicago; and his brothers, David Cooper (Anne) and Richard Cooper (Roslyn). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer an expression of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial contribution to either Hospice of Michigan or The Presbyterian Church of Traverse City.
