He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank "Dean" Grubb and Frances Sutton Pierce. He is survived by: his sisters, Melissa Berens of Frankfort, Melanie Ockert (Kevin) of Kingsley and Rebecca Duffy of Buchanan; his niece Brianna Berens; his nephews, Warren Niewiadonski (Erica) and James; his great-nieces and great-nephews, LJ Pierce III, Amanda Pierce and Austin Niewiadonski; his uncle Warren Sutton (Paula); and his stepfather James Pierce.
