With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Verschaeve in Traverse City, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 3, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank LeBlanc and Lucy Johnson; and her son Louis Verschaeve (Leslie). She is survived by: her children, Rev. C. Michael Verschaeve, Christine Tarr (Gerard), Brian Verschaeve (late Vicki), Yvonne Segal (Jerry), Suzanne Nixon, Annie Bilbrey (Clint), Charlene Verschaeve and Joseph Verschaeve (Elizabeth Chapelle); and her sister Janet Lampron (late Edward). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (1025 S Union St, Traverse City, MI 49684). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In the lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Evelyn's memory can be made to the Fr. Fred Foundation or the charity of one's choice.
