He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Sr. Stych and Rose Stych; his wife Nancy Stych of Traverse City; his sons, Edward J. Stych III (Anne) of Concord, N. C. and Dr. William C. Stych (Peggy) of Traverse City; his grandchildren, Maureen Stych (Sam Shipman) of Portland, Maine, Joseph Stych (Erin) of St. Anthony, Minn., Jeffrey Stych of Traverse City, Ellen Williams (Brandon) of Charlotte, N. C. and John Stych of New York City; his great grandchildren, Natalie Stych, Nolan Stych, Sloane Shipman and Fia Shipman; his sibling Lovina Stancl (Roland "Bud") of Orange, Calif.; and also, Tracy, Melissa, Heather, Greggory and Rebecca. He was also cherished by his sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.
