The passing of Charles Otis Leachman Sr. of Traverse City, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 3, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Leachman; his son John Alvin Leachman; his parents, William Leachman and Margaret Leachman (Johnson); and his brother William "Bill" Leachman.
He is survived by: his children, Shelly Grant (Jeff), Charles "Chuck" Leachman Jr. (Jeanine), Michael Leachman (Gonzalo Mejia) and Denise Krueger; his grandchildren, Alvin (Dakota), Renee, Wyatt, Elena, River, John, Christian, Marie, Laura, Thomas and Kyle; and his great grandchildren, Lyla and Levi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (1025 S Union St, Traverse City, MI 49684). A rosary was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
