He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Leachman; his son John Alvin Leachman; his parents, William Leachman and Margaret Leachman (Johnson); and his brother William "Bill" Leachman.
He is survived by: his children, Shelly Grant (Jeff), Charles "Chuck" Leachman Jr. (Jeanine), Michael Leachman (Gonzalo Mejia) and Denise Krueger; his grandchildren, Alvin (Dakota), Renee, Wyatt, Elena, River, John, Christian, Marie, Laura, Thomas and Kyle; and his great grandchildren, Lyla and Levi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
