Charlene Loa Heim Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2023, at the age of 91, Charlene Loa Heim of Traverse City, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlo Nickel (Van Wormer) and Milton Nickel; her husband John Heim; her brother Fain Nickel; her brother-in-law Dozier Fields Jr.; her son-in-law Phil VanderWoude; and her niece Heidi Greer.
She is survived by: her children, Christina Wood (Tim) of Holland, Jerry Heim (Jamie) of Traverse City and John "Jim" Heim (Mary Navarre) of Bay City; and her sisters-in-law, Joanna Fields and Marguerite Nickel. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
