Carolyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Holston and Joyce Holston; and her brother David Holston. She is survived by: her husband David Shoptaw; her daughter Holly Shoptaw (Jeff Tampakes); her sisters, Linda Vincent (Robert) and Gloria Konrad; and her niece Chirsty Cook.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home (305 Sixth St, Traverse City, MI 49684). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
