She was predeceased by: her parents, Axle Palm and Helga Palm (Peterson); her husband Neil Elmer; and her son Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Cecilia Mafonko (George) and Erik Elmer (Mary Brooks); her grandchildren, Trinity, Alic, Nadya, Deziree, Chimuka, Amaijah, Atianijah and Devante; and her great grandchild Miah.

Memorial contributions in her honor can be made to Munson Hospice House.
