It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Rogers (Traverse City, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlysle Rogers and Virginia Rogers (Forsythe); and his nephew Tony Pisor. He is survived by: his friend Bruce; his wife Joyce; his sister Cynthia Rogers Zapel; his children, Sarah Twinam (Tim), Jennifer Mau (Rick) and Michael Rogers (Teri); his grandchildren, Josh Sweeney (Jessica), Emily Jackson (Phil), Corinna Marshia, Katie Mau, Bruce Mau (Trista), Marisa Rogers (Joe Gonzalez) and Mikaela Rogers; his nieces, Laura Lovisa (Lara Greasy) and Dawn Harman (Derek); and his nephew David Lovisa (Carrie). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.

ACTS and the Methodist Church downtown were often recipients of meat donations.
