She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Carpenter; and her brothers, Terry and Edward Carpenter. She is survived by: her husband Robert R. Schwenter of Traverse City; her children, Michelle "Shelley" Belanger (Tom) of Rockford, Kathryn Stewart (Jim) of Estero, Nancy Laubach (Greg) of Traverse City and Scott Schwenter (Tammy) of Dublin, Ohio.; and her siblings, Sharon Hill, Richard and Robert Carpenter.
