She was predeceased by: her parents, Thorp Throop and Beatrice Throop (Rhoades). She is survived by: her husband Gene; her daughters, Jerilyn Braun (Dennis) and Lori Kirkey (Patrick); her son-in-law Robert Sivek Jr.; her grandchildren, Devon Braun, Genell Sivek, Bethany Muha, Tyler Sivek, Calvin Sivek, Allen Sivek, Katelynn Yonkers and Matthew Kirkey; her daughter Kathy Sivek; and her siblings, Laura Owen, Angeline Hull, Volney, Thorp, Frank and Sidney Throop. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
The family wishes memorial contributions be directed to The Creekside Community Church in Traverse City.
