She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Whitman and Martha Whitman (Sands); her husband Frank Hillis; her daughter Sue Richey; her siblings, Wilma Wahlers, Oscar and Hayden Whitman; and her stepsister Rebecca Libby.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Hillis (Sally) of Onaway, Linda Prow (Gary) of Onaway, Vicky Covell of Tower and Sharron Miles (Rich) of Tower; and her grandchildren, Jeanie Korde, Eric Hillis (Tanya), Kathy Beebe (Jimmy), Gary Prow (Kathy), Ronald Covell, Sherry Miles, Kevin Prow (Shemayne), Tracy Prow (Duane Bishop), Jerry Hillis Jr., Stevie Hillis, Richie Miles, Derek Walters, Nathan Hillis (Chelsea) and Nicole Leonard (Josh). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
