We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2023, at the age of 86, Loren Kommes of Toivola, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kommes and Aili Kommes (Luukkonen); his wife Shirley; and his stepsons, Kenneth Maki, Kelly Maki and Keith Maki.
He is survived by: his grandson Thomas Maki; his sisters, Anita Pakkala and Eda Narhi (Sheldon); his daughter Jennifer Nakkula (Shawn); his stepchildren, Patricia Furtaw, Teresa Beaudry (Joseph), Kevin Maki (Lorie), Mary Knuuttila (James), Susan Harden and Kim Maki (Donna); and his grandchildren, Lucas Bishop, Travis Furtaw, Vanessa Furtaw, Laila Maki, Samantha Maki and Joel Maki. He is also survived by Great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
