He was predeceased by: his father John Junior; and his son-in-law Craig Van Sickle. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Jean Klumpp (Kuebler) of Saline, MI; his wife Dawn Marie Meffer; his daughters, Jennifer Petty (Jacob) of Tecumseh, MI and Heather Van Sickle of Tecumseh, MI; his sisters, Karen Marion (Gary) of Longmont, CO, Donna Schaible (Charles) of Ann Arbor, MI, Laurie Naebeck (Buck) of Ann Arbor, MI and Debbie Werner (Will) of Adrian, MI; and his grandchildren, Lucas, Natalie, Kaden Petty, Skyla, Alexis and Payton Van Sickle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Handler Funeral Home-Tecumseh Chapel (313 W Pottawatamie St, Tecumseh, MI 49286). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Hospital, Hospice of Lenawee, or the Shriner's of Michigan.
