He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Charles and Goldie Patrick (Barnett); his son Marvin Patrick Jr.; and his granddaughter Shelly Cristal (Lanham). He is survived by: his daughter Penny Grammer (Gina Shay); and his grandchildren, Cora (David), Brandi (Dakota), Anthony, Hunter, Donovan and Savannah. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
