He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann McElhiney; his children, Holly Love-Marihugh (Bryan) of Tipton and Jesse Love Jr. (Teresa) of Horton; his brother Frank (Teresa); his grandchildren, Daniel Love (Stephanie) of Tecumseh, Nicole Hurley of Adrian, Heather Love of Toledo and Kayla Hurley of Tipton; his stepgrandchildren, Nathan Emerson (Maggie) of Portland, OR, Nicholas Emerson (Natacha) of Reseda, CA, Bethany Razelun of Whitmore Lake, Jillian Emerson of Canton and Bryan James Marihugh of Adrian; and his great grandchildren, Joshua, McKenzie, Parker, Easton, Jesse, Leland, Laney, Tanner, Jaxon, Elijah, Roman, Sequoid, Axel and Cecelia.
