Harlen H. Johnston Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harlen H. Johnston of Tipton, Michigan, born in Lyons, Ohio, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgie Johnston and Tressie Johnston (Dinius); his former wife Mary Elizabeth Johnston (Cunningham); and his son Terry Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Judith; his children, Timothy Johnston (Barbara), Kathleen McNeil (Gwyn), David Johnston (Anna), Dennis Johnston and Mark Johnston (Denise); his brother Russell Johnston (Joan); his daughter-in-law Laura Johnston; and his sister-in-law Hariett Johnston. He is also survived by his 32 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home – Adrian (3050 W Beecher Rd, Adrian, MI 49221). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:15 PM at the North Adrian Cemetery (1773 Shepherd Rd, Tecumseh, MI 49221).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Lenawee or to a charity of the donor's choice.
