He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Bluford and Etta Geneva Bishop (Tidwell); his wife Delora Jessie Evans; his son Donnie Bishop; his grandson Errol Smith; and his son-in-law Stephen Byrom.
He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Chenoweth (Brian) of Tipton, Dynette Byrom of Britton and Evan Bishop of Maricopa, AZ; his grandchildren, Vanessa Bishop-Schempp, Amanda Crawford, Stephanie Miller, Geoffrey Byrom, Jacqueline Cantu, Christopher, Keith, Vance and Bruce Bishop; and his great grandchildren, Blaire, Jaslon, Kaia, Drew, Axton, Brayson, Parker, Finley, Deacon, Bishop, Brightyn and Pyper.
