He was predeceased by: his parents, Elgyan Elias and Birdie Mae Callis (Forrister); and his son Steve Callis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Baskins; his sons, Richard Callis (Karen) of Delaware, OH and Matt Callis (Pam) of Onsted, MI; his adoptive daughter Denise Van Zandt (Rich) of Tipton, MI; his grandchildren, Kyle Callis (Hollie), Cody Callis (Vanessa), Tori Bickley (Jeremy), Eli Callis (Alana), Evan Callis (Anastasia), Taylor Callis, Seth Callis and Madison Callis; and his nephew Tracy Callis of Tipton, MI.. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
