He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Schave and Dorothy Schave (Livingood); his wife Carolyn Schave (Monroe); his sister Sandra Wander; and his nephew Bobby Lantz.
He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Rattigan (Steve) of Naples, Florida; his granddaughter Brittany Kelly of Naples, Florida; his girlfriend Barbara Wortinger of White Pigeon; his sister Mary Durr (Jim) of Dubuque, Iowa; his nephews, Michael Lantz, Richard Durr and Brian Durr; and his niece Lori Lantz.
