He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloyd Swartz and Mabel Swartz (Gearhart); and his siblings, Harold Swartz, Mary Butchbaker and Florence Cooper.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Allen Butchbaker (Pat), Steven Swartz (Tracey), Larry Cooper (Reva), Louise Albin, Kay Budny (Skip) and Roberta Wiggins (Charles). He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews and many cousins.
