He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter George and Sennie Brown (Jones); his daughter Andromeda Diana Brown; his brother Ulyess Lee Brown, Sr.; his siblings-in-law, Roy Philpot, Elmer Philpot, Pauline Brown, Betty Hobbs and Wanda Watkins; and his nephews, Ulyess Lee Brown, Jr. and Craigie Brown.
He is survived by: his former husband Edwin Bradford; his granddaughter Ariel; his wife Gladys Brown; his son-in-law Edwin Bradford; his siblings, Floyd (Shirley Brown), Geraldine (Bob Gambrel) and Theda (James Polly); and also Ariel Bradford. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
