With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Carper of Three Rivers, Michigan, born in White Pigeon, Michigan, who passed away on September 2, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Payson Carper and Bessie Carper (Bowman); his former wife Patricia Hartzell; his daughter Christine Arnold; his stepson Randy Buscher; and his siblings, Audrey Whisler, Marjorie Carper, Wuanita Brogie, Janet Mercer, George Carper, Dick Carper and Mildred Hosestead.
He is survived by: his wife Joanna Carper (Gross) of Three Rivers; his children, Thomas Carper (Debbie) of Florida and Gloria Stears (David Widmar) of Granger; his stepchildren, Brenda Iannarelli (Edward) of Florida, Patricia Romine (Jack) of Schoolcraft and Steven Buscher (Anita) of Centreville; his grandchildren, Selina Flahive (Joey), Mallory Walker (James), Trevor Arnold (Michelle), Patrick Arnold (Rae Meyer), Katie Stears, Freddie Stears (Madison Axe), Christopher Arnold and Melissa Arnold; his stepgrandchildren, Jeremy Iannarelli (Heather), Jason Iannarelli (Jen), Warren "Corky" Buscher, Lea Lackey (Matt), Norman Romine (Michelle), Chelsea Musselman (Matt), Brittney Buscher and Sydney Herman; and his sisters, Phyllis Bell and Carol Bell (Robert). He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren.
Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be enforced.
Memorial contributions can be given to Three Rivers Hospice or Moorepark Community Church.
