Sallie L. Channey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2021, at the age of 81, Sallie L. Channey of Three Rivers, Michigan, born in Alpine, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bowman and Josephine Bowman (Wiley); her husband Rev. Luther D. Channey, Jr.; and her grandson Raphael Channey. She is survived by: her children, Princel Channey (Addie) of Riverdale, GA, Kyrone Channey of Three Rivers, Cymantha White of Kalamazoo, Dayone Channey of Three Rivers and Marques Channey of Three Rivers; and her siblings, William Bowman, Lorraine Beard, Patricia Bowman, Joseph Bowman, Jr. (Deborah), Gloria Grandberry (Melvin), Deborah Anderson (John), Gregory Bowman and Valarie Rogers (Greg). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions will be directed to Scidmore Park in care of the City of Three Rivers.
