Ronnie Lee Briggs Obituary

Ronnie Lee Briggs, Three Rivers, passed away on December 30, 2021, in the presence of family after a long and hard battle with cancer. Ronnie was born December 13, 1950, in Vicksburg to parents Oliver and Jessie Briggs. He attended Vicksburg High School and served in the U.S. Army. He worked in maintenance at Portage Terrace for many years, where the children knew him as “Uncle Ron” for his fun-loving nature and his joy in arranging kids’ events like Easter egg hunts. Ronnie enjoyed working outside. He could fix just about anything, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand. May he rest in peace. Surviving are his son, Jason (Coryn) Briggs; his daughter, Tobi (Ryan) Mejeur; grandchildren Lily and Irena Briggs, and Kailynn and Rowan Mejeur; brothers Gene, Garry and Virgil Briggs; sisters Connie Habdas and Diana Martens; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Ronnie in death were his parents and a brother, Larry (Evie) Briggs.
