He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Sutherlin Sr. and Evelyn Cornelia Sutherlin (McBride); his wife Mercy Balogo Sutherlin; his children, Richard Sutherlin III (Erica) of Three Rivers and Katarina Sutherlin of Three Rivers; his grandchildren, Mackenzia Sutherlin, Helene Elise Sutherlin, Ricky Sutherlin IV, Caleb Johnson, Ezekiel Dunifin, Julian Sutherlin and Noah Dunifin; and his sisters, Linda "Beth" Woodard and Sharon Ellis.
