He was predeceased by: his pet Helen Smith; and his brothers, William Metty and Terry Metty. He is survived by: his son James Metty (Christa); his grandchildren, Wyatt and Alayna Metty; his stepgrandchildren, Jackie and Bobby Perry; and his sister Donna Handy.
