She was predeceased by : her husband RJ Edington; and her close friend Jean Schanick. She is survived by : her stepdaughters, Libby Thompson, Betsy Thompson and Nikki Fitzgerald; her friends, Marsha, William Wood, Lucy Chitwood, Josh, Bonnie, Vaughn, Loretta Schanick, Reese, Logan and Titus Proffitt; and also Caleb.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ray Funeral Services (305 Rock River Ave, Three Rivers, MI 49093). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, July 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
