He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh Bessinger and Lydia Bessinger (Eaglebarger). He is survived by: his spouse Jessie Bessinger (Goldsmith); and his children, LaMar Bessinger, Scott Smith, Jeff Smith (Jan), Tamara McGlothlen-McNeal (John) and Renee Heller (Jim). He is also survived by four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
