It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Hartzell (Three Rivers, Michigan), born in Vandalia, Michigan, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Hartzell and Ada Hartzell (Smeltzer); and his children, Rene and Marty. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Hartzell (Walker); his son Glenn Hartzell (Jenny) of Marcellus; his stepchildren, Gerald Rohm (Melissa) of Three Rivers, Samantha Lopez (Gabriel) of Three Rivers and Peter Gould (Tela) of Portage; his grandchildren, Tim Byers, Marranda Rohm, Kori Byers, Braeden Rohm, Rylan Rohm, Jonathan Rohm, Joseph Rohm, Leroy Powers, Jr., Marcos Marquez, Julian Marquez, Jr., Adrian Marquez, Gabriel Gould, Brandon Hartzell, Nicholas Hartzell, Jake Hartzell, Justin Hartzell, Kylie Chamberlain, Trevor Chamberlain and Travis Chamberlain; and his sister Eunice Bell of Dowagiac. He is also survived by Many great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday February 9, 2021 at the Eickhoff Farrand Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers, where masks, social distancing, and an attendance of 25 at any given time will be observed.

Memorial contributions will be directed to the family.
