He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Dee Darst; his children, Julie Pond (Steve), Chris Meyer (Christy), Leo Meyer (Holly) and Peter Meyer; his grandchildren, Tanner Pond (Kelsey), Austin Pond, Magen McNutt (Eli), Charlise Meyer, Patrick Meyer, Katharine Meyer, Leo James Meyer and Sammy Allen Meyer; his great grandchildren, Wade, Elsie and Wylie McNutt; and his siblings, Tom Meyer (Jackie), Jennie Lee Graham and Joy Spahn (Thomas).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hohner Funeral Home (1004 Arnold St, Three Rivers, MI 49093). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
