He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Bennitt and Helene Bennitt; and his sister Jane Hall. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his brother Blair Bennitt (Peggy) of Clark Lake; his children, Amy Bennitt of Sturgis, Barbara Nees (Daniel) of Owosso, MI and Steven Bennitt (Katie) of Townsend, MA; and his grandchildren, Phoenix, Alexander James, Evelyn and Darcie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
