She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Hibbler and Leona Hibbler (Lewis); her husbands, Robert Hilson and Walter Stanton; and her grandsons, Calvin and Jeffrey Hilson.
She is survived by: her son Augustus Hilson; and her granddaughter Sabrina.
