She was predeceased by: her parents, Burr L. Johnson and Margaret L. Johnson (Smith); her husband Robert "Sonny" Gentry; and her sisters, Sharon Spohn and Judy Povlock.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Shafer of South Bend, Julie Gentry of Elkhart, Mark Gentry (Mary) of Osceola and John Gentry (Genevieve) of White Pigeon; and her siblings, Jean Weinberg (Nolan) of Three Rivers and Norman Johnson of Maryland. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be directed to either the Salvation Army, or to the St. Joseph County Animal Shelter.
