He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloise Davidhizar (Broyles) and Henry Charles Davidhizar; his son Henry "Chuck" Davidhizar; and his siblings, Henry "Hank" Davidhizar Jr., Don Davidhizar, Jean Hendricks, Marlene Stout and Zelma Castle.
He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy Kramb; his children, Dale E. Davidhizar Jr. (Sandra Rhoades), Grand Ledge, Nell McCreary (Mark), Elkhart Davidhizar and Bruce Davidhizar (Kelly Schaar); and his siblings, Bob Davidhizar and Mabel Dillingham. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
