He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Dobros and Michael Dobrowolski; his wife Bernice Penar; his son Timothy Joseph; and his siblings, Joseph, Wesley Dobrowolski and Stephanie Dobrowolski.
He is survived by: his children, Sally Middleton (Jeffrey) of Three Rivers, Joanne Dalgleish (Keith) of Bloomfield Hills and John Dobrowolski (Gwen) of Haslett; his grandchildren, Alex (Kerry), Collin, Lucas Middleton (Erin), Michael (Catherine), Jack Dalgleish (Joan), Stephanie Overholser (Nathan) and John Dobrowolski, Jr. (Fernanda); and his stepgrandchildren, Amanda Geml and Alex Geml (Anna).
