He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wheeler and Marguerite Wheeler (Marks); his stepson Jeffrey Schrader; his son-in-law Tim Bender; his brother-in-law Charles Skeen; his niece Tonya Hofmeister Swanwick; his great grandchild David Charles Wheeler; and his sister-in-law Zella Cantrell.
He is survived by: his wife Tressa Wheeler of Three Rivers; his children, Brian Wheeler and Samantha Wheeler; his stepchildren, George Schrader (Brenda) and Michele Bender; his grandchildren, Douglas Schrader (Jesseca), George Schrader, Jr. (Whitney), Anthony Schrader and Stephanie Schrader; his great grandchildren, Mia, Sabra, Akiera, Connor, Norah, Ryne, George III, Mikail and Alea; and his sisters, Charlotte Snyder (Dexter), Karen Bickle (Dennis), Lavada Skeen and Sandra Hofmeister (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
