She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Boomker and Annette Boomker (Doezema); her husband James DeBoer; her son Andrew DeBoer; her children-in-law, Al DeJong and Sherrie DeBoer; her grandson James Carl DeBoer; and her sister Joan Swierenga.
She is survived by: her children, Annette DeJong, Theodore DeBoer, Frederick DeBoer and William DeBoer (Rebecca); her brother Theodore Boomker (Ruth); and her brother-in-law Robert P. Swierenga (Diane). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
