He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Louis and Bertha Marie Drefke (Bruechert); his wife Carol (Black); his children, Carol Jean Sanford (Leon), Mark Edward and Philip Reed; and his sisters, Nancy Teets (Harry) and Darlene Eastes (Bill). He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
