He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Davidson and Myrtle "Movo" Davidson; his son Tim Jones; and his siblings, Fayette "Shorty" Stokes, Lynn Jones and Dole Jones.

He is survived by: his former wife Barb Kendler; his wife Barbara Jones; his children, Mike Jones (Deb) of Three Rivers and Francis Jones of Arkansas; and his siblings, Gene Jones, Beth Heckenberg, Joyce Gearheart and Jo Captain.
