He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Stanage and Rosella Hampton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Stanage (Zimmerman); and his children, Dale Stanage (Anna), David Stanage, Dalton Stanage (Mollie), Roxanna Place (Brad) and Samantha Personett (David). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Tabernacle (606 N Elm St, Three Oaks, MI 49128). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
