He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Virginia Lee Hotwagner (Horton); and his son Eric Hotwagner. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie; his children, John Hotwagner, Jr. of Orlando, FL, Rachel Conway (Kevin) of Port St, Renee Hotwagner of Port St, Rebecca Becker (Darrell), Dana Snelling, Roberta Hotwagner (Tynon Smith) of Sanford, FL, Robin Hotwagner of Port St and Rhonda Hotwagner of Three Oaks, MI; his grandchildren, Justin Krueger (Erica), Jonathan Krueger, Jenna Krueger, Ariah Slayden, Jarek Hotwagner, Domonnick Johnson (Jazmin), Racquel Jeffries, Carter Jeffries, Jayda Hotwagner and Tanner Keagle; his stepchildren, Treccia Proffit and Terry Brewer; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica Fishback, Makayla Proffit, Makenna Proffit, Neriah Brewer and Hadasah Brewer; his sister Nancy Biela (Gary); his niece Tracy; and his nephew Randy Biela. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
