He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Reid and Phyllis Reid; his wife Marlene Reid of Three Oaks; his daughter Alisa Thompson (Mike) of Niles; his granddaughter Kianna Reid (Steven) of Three Oaks; his great grandchildren, Ammari, Steven, Jr. and Arielle; and his half-siblings, Melody Griffis and William Reid.
