He is survived by: his children, Gwendolyn Schmidt (Jack) of Three Oaks, Dennis "Dee" Busse (Sue) of Bridgman and Jeff Busse (Pam) of Three Oaks; his grandchildren, John Schmidt (Kimberly) of Bridgman, Erica Schmidt of Nashville, Dennis Busse of Lansing and Lauren Ferguson (Chris) of Grand Rapids; his great grandchildren, Emma, Maya and Madalynn Schmidt; and his sister Mary Ann Downer (Milton) of San Leandro, California. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
