Beverly Lawton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Lawton of Three Oaks, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Schelb and Marjorie Schelb; and her daughter Marjorie Haney. She is survived by: her husband George W. Lawton of Three Oaks; her children, Kathleen Owen (Bruce) of Coloma, Geoffrey Lawton (Joan) of Rockford, Gregory Lawton of Jackson and Gerald Lawton (Trina) of Flint; her son-in-law Tim Haney of Holland; and her siblings, Evelyn Taylor (Terry) of Denver, Laurie Doering (Ronald) of Battle Ground, Washington and Kenneth Schelb (Linda). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
The family prefers contributions in memory of Beverly be made to Harbor Country Emergency Food Pantry, Post Office Box 113, Three Oaks, Michigan 49128; Lakeside United Methodist Church, Post Office 402, Union Pier, Michigan 49129; or to the Jalingo Children's Project, care of Reverend Greg Lawton, 525 South Alpine Lake Drive, Apt A., Jackson, Michigan 49203. The latter Charity pays the cost of educating twenty-seven orphans in Jalingo, Nigeria.
