It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Smith of Thompsonville, Michigan, who passed away on September 18, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Maginity and Edna Maginity (Jarred); her daughter Diane Karen Smith; the father of her children Howard Smith; and her siblings, LaVerne Maginity, Evelyn Landreth, Jerry Maginity, Lyle Maginity, Dorothy Shepherd, Erma Shepherd, Darwin Maginity and Martin "Pete" Maginity.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis Smith (Lynn) of Thompsonville, Robert Smith (Marlene) of Thompsonville, Elizabeth Smith of Thompsonville, Patricia Brinkman of Thompsonville, Ronald Smith (Theresa) of Richmond, Howard "Perry" Smith of Thompsonville and Debra Franke (Patrick Shaeffer) of Thompsonville; and her siblings, Larry Maginity of Benzonia, Donald Maginity of Thompsonville and Vera Herron (Eldon) of Copemish. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
